The Holy Qur’an contains a comprehensive guidance program for humanity. Communication is one of the important issues that human needs for growth, excellence, guidance, and meeting his needs. Therefore, exploring Qur’anic topics in the field of communication can have significant impacts on correct understanding of the Qur’anic foundations, principles, and strategies of for applying this knowledge and experiencing effective communication. Equivalizing the term "communication" is the first step in achieving these goals. This article aims to introduce "Takliim" (revelation) as the Qur’anic equivalent of the term "communication". Based on this, we first dealt with the fact that the root of ربط"rabt" in the Holy Qur’an does not mean the common term ارتباط "communication" and its Qur’anic usage differs from its application in communication science. Then, "Takliim" is introduced as the Qur’anic equivalent of "communication" and its proof is dealt with in two stages: the first stage is lack of consistency between the mere concept of "Takliim" for dialogue through reasoning, such as the inability of the Samaritan Calf's to speak, God's revelation to Moses (PBUH), the "Takliim" of the parts of the body in the Hereafter, Saint Mary’s Takliim, and Zechariah’s Takliim; and the second stage is devoted to proving "Takliim as the Qur’anic equivalent of "communication" through verse 51 of Surah Shura. Based on the results, "Takliim" can be considered to mean "communication". The materials of this research are collected through library method, and their presentation style is analytical.
